Jared’s First Deer at 10 Years Old

My son Jared worked hard to pass his archery hunting test in October 2014 at the age of 10. On November 4, 2014 he and I hit the stand for a long afternoon sit. It wound up being a perfect afternoon with the deer moving all around us. About an hour before sunset he had a button buck walk within his range and offer a broadside shot. Jared placed a perfect arrow. His Wasp 75 grain Hi Tec SL 3 blade (an earlier version of the Rack Attack) downed the deer within 35 yards leaving behind a great blood trail. To say I'm a proud dad is an understatement. A memory of a lifetime was made that day with more to come. Wasp broad heads have served me well in the past and now they continue to do the same with my son.
